A 75-year-old Black veteran, Henry Thompson, sits quietly at a corner table. Henry is waiting for his son, who is running late. He has already ordered a coffee to pass the time. Then two young police officers, Officer Daniels and Officer Carter, walk into the diner for their lunch break. They immediately notice Henry sitting alone. Daniel whispers something to Carter.
