With the recent WNBA season drawing to a close, players and team staff had the opportunity to travel and recharge away from the court.

Indiana Fever champion Caitlin Clark and Las Vegas Pro coach Kate Martin, both 2024 recruits, made the most of their time off. The pair returned to Iowa, where they surprised the current Hawkeyes team and reunited with lifelong friends.

Among those familiar faces were former Iowa coach Gabby Marshall and current forward Jada Gyamfi. The group shared a TikTok video of the get-together with a voiceover stating, "Yo, guys, we're back.

" Their social media posts caused a stir, with many fans rejoicing at the team's reunion. WNBA fans found the group "wholesome" and "lovable," especially because of Clark and Martin's shared experiences during their time at Iowa.

"It's reunion time!" one fan said. "Aaaaaahhhh!!" exclaimed another.

"They're adorable. I really couldn't hate her," admitted another. "Oh that sounds amazing.

So healthy," added another. Clark played for the Hawkeyes from 2020-2024, averaging 28.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game. She led Iowa to two Final Four appearances in 2023 and 2024.

Meanwhile, Martin played for Iowa from 2019-2024, averaging 8.0 digs, 4.6 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.
