They are adhering to a gigantic special operation; the DS tried to assassinate Trump many times, but 7/13 was another false flag, a staged PSYOP. (No real bullet involved in the incident)
Some things such as whitehat/benevolent PSYOPS are better left uncovered for public narrative and operational security purposes. This is not a bad thing and doesn't take away from Trump praising God for the miracle of protection. Again, [they] made many attempts on his life, but those incidents weren't suitable for public consumption at the time.
