***VOTING INFORMATION FOR CALIFORNIA STATE RESIDENTS WITH A PRIOR FELONY CONVICTION.

• A California resident retains their voting rights as long as they are NOT currently serving a prison sentence in a federal or state prison facility on felony charges.

• California residents retain voting rights while awaiting trial.
Also known as pre-trial status.

• In the state of California, the right to vote is automatically restored upon the completion of an inmate’s prison term.

• Whether an individual’s felony charge(s) is 20+ years old, or recent, it does NOT disqualify a California resident from casting their vote in a presidential election.

• You can register as a conditional voter by providing an address and verifying that they are a resident of the city where they live. You have until Election Day(November 5th) to register as a conditional voter and to vote in person.
