Dehydrating: herbs and zucchini

We bought our dehydrator years ago and only use it to make jerky. Well I decided I wanted to start using it for more and started with herbs and zucchini. Worked really well! Some herbs needed a lot longer, but I just kept going until they felt crunchy.
Next week; I'll bring you along as I do squash and apples.

You can put dehydrated food on the shelf, but use an oxygen absorber and seal the lid to keep longer than 6 months. I plan to use my zucchini before that and most of the herbs I did put by in the fridge just as an extra precaution due to not sure they got 100% dried. I'm excited to keep dehydrating and learning more.
