Springfield Armory Hellion™ Ambidextrous Bullpup Rifle

Meet the Springfield Armory Hellion™, where the bullpup rifle meets the fully ambidextrous rifle! Chambered in 5.56mm NATO/223 Rem, it’s an ultra-compact rifle that has an overall length of just 28.25” while keeping a 16” CMV rifle barrel! You’ll get the easy handling of an SBR without having to worry about NFA compliance. You don’t have to worry about proprietary magazines, either! The Hellion™ bullpup MSR (Modern Sporting Rifle) is designed to feed from AR-pattern magazines and comes with a 30-round Magpul® PMAG.

For those new to a “bullpup rifle” configuration, it’s a compact rifle where the action is located behind the trigger while still allowing for an NFA-legal 16” barrel and an overall length of 26” or more. This allows for maximum versatility in tight quarters while retaining the accuracy and ballistics of a rifle-length barrel, combining portability with performance.

In addition to being a fully-ambidextrous bullpup rifle, the Springfield Armory Hellion™ 5.56mm offers maximum flexibility and performance with a two-position adjustable gas block with “S” suppressed and “N” normal modes. The result is a firearm that can be easily and quickly adjusted to fit conditions, muzzle devices, and ammo availability.
