Psalm 139:7-8 New King James Version
7 Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence?
8 If I ascend into heaven, You are there;
If I make my bed in [a]hell, behold, You are there.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYONE!!!
You know guys, every time I read the book of Jonah, I’m extremely grateful for the valuable lessons that God shows me from it, and still continues to. In particular, as I read this morning’s scripture, I could imagine Jonah stuck inside the belly of this great big fish, with seaweed wrapped around his head, probably sweating like a maniac, praying to stay alive, coming to terms with the fact that the reason why he was in this fish to begin with, was because he tried to run from God! Boy was he ever wrong! He allowed his hatred, prejudice, and personal biases to get in the way of obeying God, and he wound up learning a valuable lesson from it.

I think that's why I find the questions from this morning's devotional so challenging, but also very encouraging. As such, I’d like to share these questions with you tonight, and I pray that they challenge your heart as they are challenging mine.

When have you “run away” from God?

How have you experienced new life through Jesus?

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from his word, in particular out of the book of Jonah, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you will help you to see that it's futile to run from God. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and learn this important and vital truth for yourself! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I pray that you think deeply about what I've said through this vlog, but also that you think about everything that Jonah went through, as he tried to run from God, and that you not only learn from it, but that you don't try it! I also pray that when you do try to run from God, be willing to acknowledge what you've done to Him, confess that sin whatever it might be, repent of that sin, and ask for and accept the forgiveness that God offers you. Trust me when I tell you guys, that God is merciful beyond compare, and that God listens to genuine repentance and is always willing to forgive.

UNTIL SATURDAY:

HAVE A VERY SWEET EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
