Turkey strikes Kurdish militant targets in Syria and Iraq for a second day

Turkey launched airstrikes on suspected Kurdish militant targets in Syria and Iraq for a second day after an attack on defense company TUSAS killed at least five people.

The strikes targeted Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and affiliated Syrian Kurdish militia sites, destroying military, intelligence, and infrastructure facilities.

The attack on TUSAS was blamed on PKK members, who were killed in the assault.

Turkish airstrikes have also resulted in civilian casualties, with 12 killed in Syria, the Associated Press has reported.
