In October of the early 19th century a Canadian steamship set sail into history, but not for reasons anyone aboard could have imagined. The SS Princess Sophia caught in a deadly storm struck a hidden reef off the Alaskan coast. With 343 souls aboard, it became the worst maritime disaster in the Pacific Northwest.
This is the haunting story of her tragic voyage where hope was lost to the storm.
