Home Gardening – anyone can do it: Grow Healthy Food & Prep for Food Shortages (Ep. #0077)

Welcome to my new sub-series on home gardening and survival! 🌱 In this episode, we’re transitioning from our summer garden to planting winter crops. What’s incredible about this journey is that just four years ago, I had zero gardening skills. Now, I’m growing food to ensure my family's well-being—something anyone can learn to do!

Two key factors pushed me to start home gardening:

After waking up to the realities of how unhealthy much of our food supply has become in America, I wanted control over what we eat.
During the plandemic, we all saw empty shelves and disrupted supply chains, a wake-up call to be prepared.
Remember when grocery stores looked like this? EMPTY SHELVES during Covid!

As a husband, father, and provider, it’s my duty to ensure my family always has healthy, safe food. This series begins in the Fall of 2024, focusing on winter crops here in Southern Florida, where we have two main growing seasons—summer and winter. I’ll share what’s worked and what hasn’t, and I hope my story inspires you to start growing your own garden.
