CAMPAIGN FINANCE CONNECTIONS, D20 *RE-DO*: WHY CAMPAIGN DONATIONS IF THERE'S NO NEED TO CAMPAIGN?

I talked about Miskimins but didn't about Bathke. Again, I'm new at this and don't know the "ins and outs" of how all of this works...BUT, did they have to campaign or are the donations they received listed on their Pre-General campaign finances come in long after they knew they didn't even have to campaign because they were already in? If they didn't have to campaign, why all of the donations from these rinos and pacs connected to the green new deal/pipeline scam?
