“The West Philippine Sea Newsletter: Volume 19” - Video Version

It was a relatively calm week with no clashes between the Philippines and China in the West Philippine Sea. There were protests and accusations as the Philippines conducted its annual multinational Sama Sama exercise last week. The U.S. announced the retirement of a guided missile cruiser and the Philippines requested the cruiser be donated as part of the Philippines’ modernization efforts.
