There always is talk about increasing the minimum wage so everyone can have a better life and all this, but if you actually use your brain, increasing it is a horrible idea.

It causes inflation, layoffs and transitions to robots/machines, min wage is typically unskilled labor/high school students/designed for starter jobs.

If you want to make more, you need to invest in yourself and make yourself more invaluable. The more invaluable you become, the more you can demand. Being a dime a dozen doesn't get you buying power, as all these people seem to think it does.
