Two of the members of our online community need our help. In today's video, we talk about what we can do to help them. Make sure you don't miss this video!

If you know our friend Nelson Sweetman, he needs your help. He and his wife, Heather, experienced flooding in their Hendersonville, NC home when Hurricane Helene hit the area. All the flooring, doors, and several feet of drywall had to be ripped out. FEMA picked up some of the tab, but the rest is on them. Not living in a flood plain, they didn't have flood insurance, and regular homeowner's insurance doesn't cover flood damage.

Fortunately, neither of them were injured, and they are able to stay in a neighbor's studio apartment until repairs are made. I can't begin to imagine how difficult it must be to have your community devastated and to be displaced from your home, but that's what's happened to numerous people as a result of Hurricane Helene, and that's what's happened to Nelson and Heather.

The corporate media may have moved on from covering the storm, but the devastation still remains. It's up to all of us to help those who remain in need.
