Dramatic Sunrise From Behind Mountain Peaks Spills Over the Valley Below

Island 22 Regional Park on the Fraser River in Chilliwack, British Columbia is nestled in the Fraser Valley at the foot of a group of mountain peaks known as the Cheam Range. It is the perfect vantage point to see the sun appear dramatically from behind the peak of Mount Cheam.
A drone launched near Island 22 just before dawn recorded footage of the sunrise seen through the mist in the valley. The sky lights up slowly with gold and crimson as the sun peaks over the mountain top. Reflected in the stillness of the mighty Fraser River, the glow is magnificent. It takes only moments for the world below to brighten and daylight to spill across the valley, but the memories of such a perfect sunrise will last forever.
