Matt Taylor, the face behind MattTaylorTV, has come forward to firmly deny accusations of stalking that have circulated in recent news articles, tweets and online forums. In response to claims labelling him as a stalker, Taylor asserts that these accusations are unfounded and driven by misinformation spread by Internet trolls.

Taylor, who has been vocal about various controversies in the past, maintains that he has never been convicted of stalking, a fact he believes clears his name. "I’ve never been convicted of stalking, which should prove beyond doubt that I am not a stalker," he said, pointing out that while he has been arrested in connection with alleged stalking, no formal charges have ever been brought against him.

In addition to defending himself against the arrests, Taylor addressed the issue of Stalking Prevention Orders issued against him. He explained that these orders were placed without proper legal representation during the national COVID-19 lockdown, a time when many legal proceedings were altered or delayed due to the pandemic. According to Taylor, the lack of representation during these hearings denied him the opportunity to present his side of the story fully.

"These orders were made during unprecedented times when courts operated differently. I wasn’t given the chance to fight back properly," Taylor stated, adding that the circumstances were far from standard legal practices.

Taylor’s public statement comes in the wake of what he describes as a coordinated effort by online trolls to tarnish his reputation. Despite the allegations, he continues to run his YouTube channel, interacting with his audience and maintaining his stance that he’s done nothing wrong.

“I’m focused on creating content for my audience, not getting involved in lies or drama,” Taylor concluded.

As Taylor continues to fight these claims, his loyal viewers remain supportive, reminding others that accusations without convictions do not determine guilt.
