TOS-1A Solntsepyok 🔥 Burning down to ashes

The TOS-1A Solntsepyok, one of the most deadly multiple rocket launchers, is in service with the Nuclear, Chemical, and Biological Protection Troops of the Russian Armed Forces. It is designed to disable light-armoured vehicles, burn down and destroy buildings and structures, neutralise enemy manpower located in the open and in fortifications.

There are three men in the crew. It carries 24 charges. The targets can be engaged with a single rocket or salvo.

The Solntsepyok heavy flamethrower system eliminates targets with thermobaric rockets. A warhead contains explosive mixture. Once hit the target, the projectile delivers it in the form of an aerosol, then the detonator triggers. The aerosol ignites and burns everything down. Then there comes a void, a vacuum. The air instantly fills this void, collapses, and causes a powerful strike.

The temperature in the surface zero reaches 2,000 degrees. It is easy to imagine what happens to the enemy's manpower and hardware if it is in this fire trap.

It is impossible to hide from the Solntsepyok system. The enemy who stands in its way will inevitably receive a 'solar strike'.
