The synopsis of this next presentation focuses on an age old abomination, an abnormal sexual behavior known as "Homosexuality", that was once condemned and punishable by death in almost every part of the world including the United States. Beginning in 1636 the first colonial settlers in North America established anti Sodomy Laws that banned homosexuality throughout the Colonies and for 326 years remained in effect until mid 20th century Marxist Leninist Progressivism began the assault on our Judicial and Legislative bodies as well as the Constitution itself. The consequence of this assault on our once great Christian Republic have, to say the least, been devastating, plunging our Nation deeper and deeper into an abyss of moral and social decline.

THE RISE

1636
The Plymouth Colony wrote a simple list of “Capital offenses lyable (sic) to death” that included sodomy, treason, witchcraft, arson, rape, murder, bestiality, and adultery.

1641
The Massachusetts Bay Colony adopted the Body of Laws and Liberties, which established twelve capital offenses including sodomy. The Bay Colony’s statutes directly reflected the language of the Old Testament, quoting Leviticus 20:13. “'If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death ; their blood shall be upon them."

1718
The New Hampshire legislature passed “An Act against Murder, etc.,” which combined capital laws and sodomy laws.

1796
New Jersey passed “An Act for the Punishment of Crimes” that made sodomy punishable by a fine and solitary confinement with hard labor for no more than twenty-one years.

1816
Georgia state code, called for life imprisonment if charged with sodomy.

1952
The Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952 made homosexuality a reason for deportation and identified it as a "psychopathic personality".

1953
President Dwight Eisenhower signed Executive Order 10450, which prohibited homosexuals from working for the federal government or its contractors. The order listed homosexuals as a security risk.

THE DECLINE

1955
the American Law Institute voted to decriminalize consensual acts of sodomy and removed sodomy as a crime from its Modern Penal Code

1958
The Supreme Court case One, Inc. v. Olsen was the first US Supreme Court case to rule in favor of gay rights.

1961
Illinois was the first state to reject its sodomy law

1970's
19 other states would follow, repealing their anti-sodomy laws all through out the 1970's, thus driving the nail deeper in the coffin.

1980's
Pennsylvania and New York's’ highest courts struck down state sodomy laws, partially relying on the U.S. Constitution in their decisions.

1993
Congress passed the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" (DADT) policy, which allowed homosexuals to serve in the military if they did not disclose their sexual orientation.

1996
The Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) was passed, which prevented the federal government from legally recognizing same-sex couples.

2003
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Lawrence v. Texas that sexual acts between people of the same sex are legal nationwide.

2009
The Matthew Shepard and James Byrd, Jr. Hate Crimes Prevention Act was passed, which made hate crimes based on sexual orientation or gender identity punishable by federal law.

2010
President Barack Obama signed the repeal of “Don't Ask Don't Tell,” allowing gay and lesbian people to serve openly in the military.

2015
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Obergefell v. Hodges that same-sex marriage is legal in every state.

2022
The Respect for Marriage Act was passed, which repealed DOMA.
(RFMA) is a federal law that protects same-sex and interracial marriages.
