Eight tales involving evil and those who struggle to kept from becoming dominated by it, Nest of ‘Em spans a ninety-nine-year period from 1913 to 2012 and is set in a variety of locales ranging from the hollers of the American South to the hidden storerooms of China. Combining elements of horror, science fiction, history and theology, these stories include a machine that can locate hatred, a camera that only films evil acts, a Southern Gospel quartet that can’t understand how their records got possessed and a Taoist necromancer that is sabotaging all of the Chinese Communist Party’s best-laid plans, to mention only a few.
