He also became ground zero for every Russia Gate fraud, and of course, Jeffrey Goldberg is not expelled from the mainstream media.
He's not writing at Substack. He's the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic.
He was rewarded with that position as a result of the lying he did on behalf of the U.S. security state... Journalists who spread CIA conspiracy theories get promoted, and journalists who question the CIA get destroyed."

He met with the Guillén family privately for twenty minutes and offered the press gaggle solely if it would assist them in honoring Army Specialist Guillén and raising awareness about her case. Jeffery Goldberg can literally publish a bunch of made-up quotes and the entire left will repeat them as fact. There is a zero percent chance any newspaper would have run with the "suckers and losers" or Hitler's general stories in the old days. You have "anonymous" sources up against a bunch of people who were there deny hearing it. This new one is even less believable. Just complete journalistic malpractice.
