Another great way to save money... choose less expensive snacks!
I think families struggle the most with snacks. 💕
You may be serving oatmeal for breakfast, eating your dinner leftovers for lunch... but snacks!
Things like soda, cookies, chips, and crackers from the store that can really break the bank.
They can really add up and they can also prevent you from hitting your health goals.
If you plan out your menu like we've talked about, including snacks, that can really help. Yet here is an additional tip...
Do not buy the processed snack foods!
If they're in the house, they're going to get eaten. Then begging commences to replace them. You want to break the habit.
Your family needs to learn to develop the habit of eating healthier, less expensive snacks...like homemade yogurt, homemade jerky, homemade popcorn, homemade larabars, English muffins, and more. 🙂
Also, I'm not suggesting that you have to give up your favorite snacks either, because if there's something you really love, you can find a way to make it at home.
Once again... another reason to get back to what God designed for our nourishment. 🙏🏻 We call it Eat God's Way.
