Bernie Sanders wants minimum wage $17/hr... Here's why that's a bad idea

Hey y’all, it’s Tuesday, October 22nd, and I’m here to give you my latest hot takes on Bernie Sanders’ push to raise the federal minimum wage to $17 an hour. Now, I don’t know which one of his three houses Bernie tweeted this from, but let’s talk about what raising wages really means for businesses like McDonald’s. We’re already seeing fast-food chains embrace automation to cut down on labor costs—and that trend is only going to grow. 🤖🍟

In my opinion, throwing out these wage numbers without considering the consequences leads to inflation, higher prices for everyone, and robots flipping burgers instead of people. Bernie might think it’s helping, but he’s overlooking what it actually does to small businesses and the American economy.

So, let’s break it down and talk about why a job at a fast-food restaurant is supposed to be a stepping stone, not a career path. Plus, don’t miss out on my live shows coming up in Marble Falls, Texas, and Tulsa, Oklahoma! 🎤
