Oscar De La Hoya EXPOSES Haney vs Garcia PPV Fight Disaster!

Oscar Dela Hoya confirmed last week on clap-back Thursday that Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia April 20th match didn't sell on PPV. The Haneys are suing Golden Boy Promotions for back pay, seeking money for unpaid wages.

Bill Haney feels Oscar Dela Hoya is holding out on paying backend money from the fight, thinking Haney is a draw. The reality is this is not the case. Bill Haney wants to see the books.

This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but if what Oscar says is true, this will prove that Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia aren't the draw Bill Haney was hoping for. If promoters opened the books to a lot of their fighters, there might be lots of surprises for fighters who think they are bigger than they are.

According to Oscar, Haney vs Garcia only sold a little over 300,000 homes. Bill Haney doesn't believe that's true. He's gonna be disappointed when he finds out it is true.

Teofimo Lopez is a prime example of this. The fact of the matter is the American boxing public has been emotionally invested in believing certain fighters are superstars from a financial standpoint when that's the furthest thing from the truth.

In this social media era, fighters, managers, boxing dads, reporters, and promoters create perceptions on social media that are often not true. Then when they create the lie about their sons, or fighters are stars. They start to believe their own lies, when it's the furthest thing from the truth.

It's called an illusion. You can't believe everything you see on social media, because everything you see is smoke and mirrors. Why do you think 🤔 American fighters like Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia think 🤔 they're bigger than what they are?
