Quarterback Dominick Orsini collected 494 total yards, 252 of them on the ground, as the visitors stunned the host Tigers at Blackstock Stadium. DePauw came into the game 5-1 overall and 4-1 in the North Coast Athletic Conference. The Battling Bishops were 3-3 overall and 3-2 in the NCAC.

Ohio Wesleyan now leads the all-time series, 21-8-1 with wins in each of the last three seasons.
