A Russian Mi-28NM helicopter crew, operating as part of a joint task force, delivered missile strikes against Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) military personnel and strongholds in the border area of Kursk region.

While carrying out combat support tasks of ground forces, the helicopters launched missiles according to the coordinates of an air controller and destroyed a stronghold with Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) militants in it.

After the strike, the crews performed an anti-missile manoeuvre releasing decoy flares at extremely low altitude to prevent the enemy to launch surface-to-air missiles.

The forward air controller reported that all the targets had been successfully hit.

During the special military operation, Army Aviation performs the tasks of escorting convoys, destroying Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) armoured vehicles, delivering airborne and military cargo, and providing air support to units.
