Peter Lynch suicided in prison for this protest

Peter Lynch was jailed for more than two years after he was filmed screaming abuse at riot police outside a Holiday Inn hotel housing asylum seekers. The court was shown body-worn camera footage of him screaming: “You are protecting people who are killing our kids and raping them!” and “scum” at officers holding riot shields.
