The White Kambang Museum is located on Jalan R.A. Kartini Number 3, Kutorejo Village, Tuban District, Tuban Regency, East Java. This museum occupies a very strategic location, namely close to the Tuban Regent's Office, Alun-alun and Boom Beach. Next to the Kambang Putih Museum, there is the tomb of Sunan Bonang, a figure who spread Islam in Java. The word "White Kambang" comes from an inscription made by King Sri Mapanji Garasakan and refers to an area that is now Tuban Regency. In the inscription marked 1050 AD, King Sri Mapanji Garasakan stated that Kambang Putih was a port city at that time. In the XI century, Kambang Putih also became a place for trade between islands and even continents.
In the Kambang Putih Museum there is a Chinese Yuan dynasty ship anchor, almost 2 meters high, and equipped with a steering ring and chains. The Mongol ruler at that time, Kublai Khan, sent an expedition to Java to force Java, which at that time was ruled by Kerta Negara, King Singhasari, to submit to Mongol rule. However, Emperor Monggol's official envoy, had his ears cut off as a sign that Java would not submit to Monggol. Wow... our ancestors were extraordinary.
