Facebook’s Dark Secrets: How They’re Rigging the 2024 Election for Kamala Harris!

A senior Facebook software engineer, Jeevan Gyawali, was secretly interviewed by an undercover journalist from the O’Keefe Media Group, where he revealed that Facebook actively shadow bans users for posting content critical of Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party. Gyawali disclosed that the platform is designed to interfere with the 2024 election in favor of Kamala Harris, with Mark Zuckerberg fully supporting these tactics.

According to Gyawali, Facebook has been systematically shadow banning posts that criticize Harris or the Democrats. Anti-Kamala posts are “automatically demoted,” meaning their visibility is reduced, and they are hidden from friends and the public. For example, if someone posted that Harris is unfit for the presidency because she doesn’t have children, that post would be suppressed without the user’s knowledge.

When Facebook shadow bans a user, they aren’t notified, but their post’s reach is secretly limited. The user’s friends won’t see the post in their feed, leading to a noticeable drop in engagement. As a result, users often self-censor, avoiding posts on sensitive topics. This practice discourages conservative users from sharing political content, ultimately silencing their viewpoints.

Gyawali also described Meta’s “Integrity Team,” which uses “civic classifiers” to control content. Despite its name, this team lacks integrity, as it censors political opinions it disagrees with. Gyawali also revealed the existence of a specialized Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team, set up in April 2024, tasked with managing potential abuses of the platform—but in reality, engineers are abusing the system to promote their own political agenda.

Gyawali criticized Facebook’s role in promoting Kamala Harris, stating that Harris was not elected through a proper primary process but is instead being supported by elites and superdelegates. Facebook’s censorship suppresses any discussion about critical issues affecting the country, ensuring that Harris’s campaign avoids public scrutiny.

When asked about Meta’s ability to influence the election outcome, Gyawali affirmed that the company can, and is doing so, with Zuckerberg’s full approval. He confirmed that Zuckerberg supports Meta’s efforts to help the Democratic Party “100%.”

Meta's communications director, Andy Stone, responded to these claims by downplaying Gyawali's comments, suggesting that Gyawali might have exaggerated to impress his date. Stone explained that Meta’s Elections Operation Center focuses on combating disinformation and responding to user preferences for less political content, though critics argue that “disinformation” simply refers to any content that challenges the Democratic Party’s agenda.

These revelations follow Zuckerberg’s recent admission that Facebook censored COVID-related content at the Biden administration’s request. In a letter to Congress, Zuckerberg acknowledged that the White House pressured the company to suppress certain information about COVID-19.

Gyawali’s comments, along with Meta’s history of censorship, have ignited debate over the transparency of social media algorithms and their role in election interference. Donald Trump has already warned that Zuckerberg could face criminal charges if he is found to be conspiring with Democrats to interfere in the 2024 election.
