E.P. Carrillo Honduras Cigar Review

Few names hold as much weight as Ernesto Perez Carrillo in the world of cigarmaking. He has been blending world famous cigars for more than 50 years. Today, he is intently focused on his legacy, blending with his family and bringing up the second generation of cigar makers in his family. Part of the new side of E.P. Carrillo is the Essence line, which thus far has featured Sumatra and Maduro blends. However, most recently, the Carrillos have unleashed the E.P. Carrillo Honduras on the cigar loving world. This dark blend promises to feature a (typical to Ernesto) complex and consistent blend. But I am going to put this under the hot light to see what makes the cigar really tick. While so many popular cigars today are Nicaraguan, it's Honduran blends that are working their way into the spotlight. Can this Honduran cigar hit with the same 'wow' factor that so many of Ernesto's highly rated blends already have? The only way to find out is with a cut and a light!
