Hi Guys!

We hear a lot about division in the world. Members of the same group or communities are working in a competitive spirit rather than a spirit of complementarity.

When members within these communities decide to address issues with this mindset, communion is impossible and soon enough, groups become divisive and can rapidly fall apart.

In this podcast, I'd like to share a gospel passage that inspired me on the need to exercice "a true sense of leadership".

John 3, v.22-30 : John the Baptist just baptized Jesus and the Lord leaves with few of His new disciples. They go elsewhere and starts baptizing. For some reason, their vision and their actions disturbs members of John the Baptist's "disciples. The answer and attitude of John the Baptist is exemplary in expressing a posture that sends one message to his disciples : "Why are you so disturbed? I know who I am and I'm at peace". (John does not say these words, lol, I'm paraphrasing).
Each of them, Christ Jesus and John the Baptist, in their own way, embrace their identity and roles. They are responding to their calling and their attitude is one of "communion".

How is this relevant today? I believe this can be truly helpful to understand why things are not working right now in the Church and in the world.

Let's reflect on this passage of scripture and contemplate how this can help us to improve our own posture as leaders in our respective roles in our daily life!

Enjoy the podcast and let me know your own thoughts and reflection!

God bless!
