PROMISIS OF GOE PART - SALVATION!!!
Salvation 50
“But if from thence thou shalt seek the LORD thy God,
thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart
and with all thy soul. When thou art in tribulation, and all
these things are come upon thee, even in the latter
days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be
obedient unto his voice; (For the LORD thy God is a
merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy
thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he
sware unto them.” (Deut. 4:29-31)
“Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray
unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek
me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all
your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the LORD:
and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you
from all the nations, and from all the places whither I
have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you
again into the place whence I caused you to be carried
away captive.” (Jer. 29:12-14)
“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he
that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he
is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
(Heb. 11:6)
“I love them that love me; and those that seek me early
shall find me.” (Prov. 8:17)
“And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy
father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a
willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and
understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if
thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou
forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.” (1 Chr. 28:9)
Seeking God 51
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall
humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and
turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from
heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their
land.” (2 Chr 7:14)
“And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek
thee.” (Psalm 9:10)
“I have not spoken in secret, in a dark place of the earth:
I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain: I
the LORD speak righteousness, I declare things that are
right.” (Isaiah 45:19)
“The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the
soul that seeketh him.” (Lam 3:25)
Seeking God 52
“I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou,
LORD, only makest me dwell in safety." (Psalm 4:8)
"When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea,
thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. Be not
afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the
wicked, when it cometh. For the LORD shall be thy
confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being
taken.” (Prov. 3:24-26)
“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is
stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.”
(Isaiah 26:3)
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and
learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye
shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and
my burden is light.” (Matt. 11:28-30)
Sleeplessness 53
“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are
not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be
revealed in us.” (Rom. 8:18)
“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be
able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the
comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our
consolation also aboundeth by Christ. And whether we
be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation,
which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings
which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is
for your consolation and salvation. And our hope of you
is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the
sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.”
(2 Cor. 1:3-7)
“Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial
which is to try you, as though some strange thing
happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are
partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall
be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If
ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye;
for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on
their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is
glorified. But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as
a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other
men’s matters. Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let
him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this
behalf.” (1 Peter 4:12-16)
“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall
Suffering 54
suffer persecution.” (2 Tim. 3:12)
“For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward
God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. For what glory is
it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it
patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye
take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. For even
hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered
for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his
steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his
mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again;
when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed
himself to him that judgeth righteously.”
(1 Peter 2:19-23)
“Blessed are they which are persecuted for
righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and
persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against
you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding
glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so
persecuted they the prophets which were before
you.” (Matt. 5:10-12)
“Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in
the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering
affliction, and of patience. Behold, we count them happy
which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job,
and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very
pitiful, and of tender mercy.” (James 5:10-11)
“And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of
that which is good? But and if ye suffer for
righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of
Suffering 55
their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord
God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an
answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the
hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Having a
good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you,
as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely
accuse your good conversation in Christ. For it is better,
if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than
for evil doing.” (1 Peter 3:13-17)
“For which cause we faint not; but though our outward
man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
For our light affliction, which is but for a moment,
worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight
of glory; While we look not at the things which are seen,
but at the things which are not seen: for the things which
are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen
are eternal.” (2 Cor. 4:16-18)
“Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry?
let him sing psalms.” (James 5:13)
“Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of
God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well
doing, as unto a faithful Creator.” (1 Peter 4:19)
“But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his
eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered
a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle
you.” (1 Peter 5:10)
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall
tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or
nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy
Suffering 56
sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as
sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are
more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I
am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels,
nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor
things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other
creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of
God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
(Rom. 8:35-39)
Suffering 57
“There hath no temptation taken you but such as is
common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer
you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with
the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may
be able to bear it.” (1 Cor. 10:13)
“For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but
he took on him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all
things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren,
that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in
things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the
sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered
being tempted, he is able to succour [aid] them that are
tempted.” (Heb. 2:16-18)
“Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is
passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us
hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest
which cannot be touched with the feeling of our
infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are,
yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the
throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find
grace to help in time of need.” (Heb. 4:14-16)
“Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of
God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither
tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when
he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then
when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin,
when it is finished, bringeth forth death.” (Jam. 1:13-15)
“Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and
depart from evil. It shall be health to thy navel, and
marrow to thy bones.” (Prov. 3:7-8)
Temptation 58
"And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you;
seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened
unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he
that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be
opened. If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a
father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will
he for a fish give him a serpent? Or if he shall ask an
egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If ye then, being evil,
know how to give good gifts unto your children: how
much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy
Spirit to them that ask him?" (Luke 11:9-13)
"And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you
another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive,
because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye
know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I
will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you."
(John 14:16-18)
"But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the
Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all
things, and bring all things to your remembrance,
whatsoever I have said unto you." (John 14:26)
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is
come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both
in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and
unto the uttermost part of the earth." (Acts 1:8)
The Holy Spirit 59
"But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried
me, I shall come forth as gold." (Job 23:10)
"Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if
need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold
temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much
more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be
tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour
and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:"
(1 Peter 1:6-7)
"My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers
temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith
worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect
work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting
nothing." (James 1:2-4)
"And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also:
knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience,
experience; and experience, hope." (Rom. 5:3-4)
"Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be
able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the
comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our
consolation also aboundeth by Christ." (2 Cor. 1:3-5)
"There hath no temptation taken you but such as is
common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer
you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with
the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may
be able to bear it." (1 Cor. 10:13)
Trials 60
"For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but
he took on him the seed of Abraham. Wherefore in all
things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren,
that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in
things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the
sins of the people. For in that he himself hath suffered

"Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is

hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest
which cannot be touched with the feeling of our
infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are,

"Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of
God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well
doing, as unto a faithful Creator." (1 Peter 4:19)
"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for
my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly
therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the
power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take
pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in
persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I
am weak, then am I strong." (2 Cor. 12:9-10)
"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall
tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or
nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy
sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as

sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are
more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I

"But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his
eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered
a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle
you. To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever.
Amen." (1 Peter 5:10-11)

thee, and thou shalt glorify me." (Psalm 50:15)

their strength in the time of trouble." (Psalm 37:39)
"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in
trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be

thereof." (Psalm 46:1-3)

shalt quicken me again, and shalt bring me up again
from the depths of the earth." (Psalm 71:20)

wilt answer me." (Psalm 86:7)

with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my
salvation." (Psalm 91:15-16)
"Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he
delivered them out of their distresses." (Psalm 107:6)

of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save
me." (Psalm 138:7)
"Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of
man." (Psalm 60:11)
Trouble 64
"But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory
through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Cor. 15:57)
"Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you,
Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the
servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son
abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free,
ye shall be free indeed." (John 8:34-36)
"Moreover the law entered, that the offence might
abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more
abound:" (Rom. 5:20)

name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their
sins." (Matt. 1:21)

shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not
faint." (Isaiah 40:31)
"Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall
strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the
LORD." (Psalm 27:14)
"Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I
trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine
enemies triumph over me. Yea, let none that wait on
thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which
transgress without cause." (Psalm 25:1-3)
"Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not
thyself because of him who prospereth in his way,
because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to
pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not
thyself in any wise to do evil. For evildoers shall be cut
off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit
the earth." (Psalm 37:7-9)
"Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall
exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut
off, thou shalt see it." (Psalm 37:34)
"I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto
me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an
horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a
rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new
song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many
shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the
LORD." (Psalm 40:1-3)
Waiting on God 66
"My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is
from him." (Psalm 62:5)

seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for
him that waiteth for him." (Isaiah 64:4)

soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both
hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the
LORD." (Lam. 3:25-26)
Waiting on God 67
"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season
we shall reap, if we faint not." (Gal. 6:9)
"But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing."
(2 Thess. 3:13)
"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast,
unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord,
forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in
the Lord." (1 Cor. 15:58)
"For consider him that endured such contradiction of
sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in
your minds." (Heb. 12:3)
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and
learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye
shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and
my burden is light." (Matt. 11:28-30)
Weariness 68
"That their hearts might be comforted, being knit
together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance
of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the
mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; In
whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and
knowledge." (Col. 2:2-3)
"But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made
unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification,
and redemption." (1 Cor. 1:30)
"My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my
commandments with thee; So that thou incline thine ear
unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;
Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy
voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver,
and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt
thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the
knowledge of God. For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of
his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. He
layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a
buckler to them that walk uprightly." (Prov. 2:1-7)
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and
the knowledge of the holy is understanding."
(Prov. 9:10)
"If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that
giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it
shall be given him." (James 1:5)
"O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser
than mine enemies: for they are ever with me. I have
Wisdom 69
more understanding than all my teachers: for thy
testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than
the ancients, because I keep thy precepts. I have
refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep
thy word. I have not departed from thy judgments: for
thou hast taught me. How sweet are thy words unto my
taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through
thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every
false way." (Psalm 119:97-104)
"The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the
testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart:
the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the
eyes. The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever:
the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous
altogether. More to be desired are they than gold, yea,
than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the
honeycomb. Moreover by them is thy servant warned:
and in keeping of them there is great reward."
(Psalm 19:7-11)
Wisdom 70
"Be careful [anxious] for nothing; but in every thing by
prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your
requests be made known unto God. And the peace of
God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your
hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (Phil. 4:6-7)
"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for
you." (1 Peter 5:7)
"Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life,
what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your
body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than
meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of
the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather
into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are
ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking
thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why
take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the
field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his
glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if
God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and
to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more
clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no
thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we
drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all
these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly
Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his
righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto
you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the
morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.
Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."
(Matt. 6:25-34)
Worry 71
Remember to say "My God is able!" whenever you are in
doubt or discouraged.
God is able to provide for you
"And God is ABLE to make all grace abound toward you, that
you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an
abundance for every good work." (2 Cor. 9:8)
God is able to do more than you can ask or imagine
"Now to Him who is ABLE to do exceedingly abundantly
above all that we ask or think, according to the power that
works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to
all generations, forever and ever. Amen." (Eph. 3:20-21)
God is able to deliver you
"For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is
ABLE to aid those who are tempted." (Heb. 2:18)
72
God is able to keep what you have committed to Him
"For this reason I also suffer these things; nevertheless I am not
ashamed, for I know whom I have believed and am persuaded
that He is ABLE to keep what I have committed to Him until
that Day." (2 Tim. 1:12)
God is able to establish you
"Now to Him who is ABLE to establish you according to my
gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the
revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world
began." (Rom. 16:25)
God is able to keep you from falling
"Now unto him that is ABLE to keep you from falling, and to
present you faultless before the presence of his glory with
exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and
majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen." (Jude
24-25)
God is able to save you to the end
"Therefore He is also ABLE to save to the uttermost those who
come to God through Him, since He always lives to make
intercession for them." (Heb. 7:25)
73
God is able to secure you eternally
"And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish;
neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My
Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and
no one is ABLE to snatch them out of My Father’s
hand." (John 10:28-29)
Jesus says to you: "Do you believe that I am ABLE to do
this?" (Matt. 9:28)
You are ABLE, Lord!
Nothing is too hard for Thee!
You made the Heaven and the Earth,
And there is nothing too hard for Thee!

Standing on the promises that cannot fail,
When the howling storms of doubt and fear assail,
By the living Word of God I shall prevail,
Standing on the promises of God.
Standing on the promises of Christ the Lord,
Bound to Him eternally by love’s strong cord,
Overcoming daily with the Spirit’s sword,
Standing on the promises of God.
Standing on the promises I cannot fall,
Listening every moment to the Spirit’s call
Resting in my Savior as my all in all,
Standing on the promises of God.
Standing, standing,
Standing on the promises of God my Savior;
Standing, standing,
I’m standing on the promises of God
