This is a replay of a Facebook Live I posted last week. I recounted in detail the experiences we had at UVa Medical Center during the 16 days our dad was hospitalized following his stroke on September 21st 2024. It is my intention not only to bring attention to the multiple failures in communication by our dad's medical team and the system at large, but also to provide you with the understanding and courage you need to stand up and keep vigil for yourself or a loved on who is in the medical system. Lastly, I could not help but notice the hospital experience brought to light a larger trend in our society away from valuing life.
