Teen killed, 15-year-old arrested in ‘accidental’ west Las Vegas shooting

One teen is dead and another is in custody after an “accidental” shooting in the west valley on Wednesday.

Around 7:17 a.m., the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department received reports of a shooting involving juveniles in the 7100 block of Bramble Court. Arriving officers located a male juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound and transported him to a nearby hospital where he would later die.

FOX5 spoke to family members of the victim, who identified him as Keanu Riley Enright.An initial investigation determined that a group of friends were handling a firearm inside a residence when a 15-year-old shot the victim.

He was arrested at the scene and booked into the Clark County Juvenile Hall on open murder charges.
