Sound the Trumpet 3 - Consecrate a Holy Fast - Contending for Israel,Asia,Hoquiam

Fasting and fervent prayer is a staple of Christian life typified by the work of Christ. We were told we would do the same things he did. The flesh is a hindrance to the Holy Spirit. The carnal mind is an enemy to God and has no ability to please or understand God. When we fast we put the flesh aside to receive outpouring of the Holy Spirit. When we do receive we release it into the world. Receive and release.

God specifically mentions priests and teachers twice in Joel which reinforces the need for us called as leaders, apostles, prophets, teachers, evangelists to fast often and intercede with prayer.

Fasting can change and entire person, household, town, city, government, nation, world. At Praise House we seek to equip the saints in this and lead by example to contend for our city of Hoquiam, our region western Washington, our neighbors right across the Pacific Ocean in Asia, our government and for the Children of Israel.

Like Ninevah, the Far East will have revival that will bounce like an ocean wave off their shore and travel back to Hoquiam and provide nourishment for us who live in a decadent self-serving, self-worshipping nation that is rapidly and has rapidly turned its back on God.
