Martine McCutcheon has opened up about receiving a surprising health diagnosis, which she initially dismissed as a "lazy label"The 48-year-old actress is famed for her portrayal of Tiffany Mitchell in EastEnders from 1994 to 1998 and her role in the hit romcom Love Actually.It was reported by the Express in 2023 that she had been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), as well as chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), fibromyalgia, and Lyme disease.During an appearance on the ADHD Chatter Podcast on October 15th, Martine shared her emotional reaction after delving deeper into her condition, revealing that she "sobbed" after starting to read more about it.Martine recounted: "At first, I was like, 'They've got it wrong', and I forgot about it. And my mum was like, 'Oh, you know; I know you said that you've been diagnosed with ADHD, and there's this book about women and how it's very different'."

"And I was like, 'But I don't have it; I think they got it wrong'. She was like, 'What do you mean they got it wrong? Like, you did a full-on private like indulgent pretty fabulous test, Martine, and you were...your score was high."She explained to her mother that it was "complicated", citing "other factors" and expressing her belief that it wasn't "just that", and her view was that it was a "lazy label".
