2024.09.25 Davis County Conservatives - Layne Beck on the History of SB54 from 2014

Layne Beck, is one of the original people in the Utah Republican Party to fight the passage of Senate Bill 54 (SB54) from 2014. His presentation began with the history of the nomination and voting process of candidates for public office in the state of Utah and then moved into the story of the passage of SB54 and the following legal battles to try and overturn it.

U.S. Senate candidate Carlton Bowen was also in attendance and spoke for a few minutes near the start of the meeting.
