According to data from the Wisconsin Elections Commission, there are at least 78 drop boxes being used in the state during the general election. Still, that’s far lower than the 528 drop boxes that the commission was aware of in 2020. These drop boxes have become a tool of concern, as critics argue they can be easily exploited for cheating, citing the lack of standardized oversight and the potential for ballot harvesting, making the integrity of the process questionable.
