The Messianic Identity of Jesus - How Sure Can We Be?

The claims of Christianity are built upon the identity of Jesus Christ as the Jewish Messiah that was prophesied about throughout the Old Testament. If Jesus wasn’t the Messiah, then we have nothing. Christianity dissolves outside of the identity of Christ. Either He was who He said He was, or there is no Christianity. So then how sure can we be that Jesus Christ was that Messiah? And how can we validate this?
