Star Trek Online: Odo's Last Stand

Julian Bashir has a potential cure for the Hur'q. We now know that they were a peaceful race who were made insane and murderous by the Founder millenia ago, now it's time to help them by giving them the cure. Unfortunately they are in the middle of a massive attack on the Founder homeworld after the events of the previous mission so we fly in to assist Odo and work out a way to complete our task. First we head onto a Hur'q capital ship and fight our way toy their central computer system to upload the data containing the cure and allow them to synthesise the cure. Weyoun has somehow escaped from custody and destroys the sample of the cure preventing Bashir from completing his task. He needs more time to rebuild his data and upload it.

Odo is in a bit of a pickle. On the planet the Hur'q are overwhelming his forces - time for a last stand whilst Bashir toils away. We head down and fight our way to his position and face endless waves of Hur'q. Just as all appears lost and we look to be overwhelmed the Hur'q stop attacking - One single Hur'q comes forward carrying the body of a Jem'Hadar, lays it before us and says simply, 'Thank you'. Dukan'Rex our Jem'Hadar companion for many missions realised that his body contained the materials needed by Bashir to synthesise his cure and sacrificed himself to make it possible. As soon as the Hur'q gained the cure, their madness was ended. Too many lives lost, but an enormous threat put to rest.

Back to DS9 for tea, bloodwine and a wrap up of all the various threads amongst our companions. We even get a discount on the celebratory drinks thanks to Quark.
