IDF video appears to show final moments of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar

The Israeli military released drone footage showing Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar’s final moments in a destroyed Gaza apartment, injured and throwing a stick at the drone before being killed by additional shelling.

Sinwar, key in the October 2023 attack on Israel, was found with weapons and cash after fleeing during a gunfight.

He had avoided Israeli intelligence by stopping communication in his final months, The Guardian has reported.
