Al Gore in 1985: Predicted 7-Foot Sea Level Rise by 2100 Due to Greenhouse Gases

Speaking in 1985, Al Gore predicts a sea level rise of up to 7 feet "by the end of the next century" as a result of greenhouse gases.

"The most comprehensive evaluations of the greenhouse effect... [predict] a global temperature increase of 3.6°F by the year 2040, and a rise of as much as 9°F by the year 2100."

"This would result in sea level increases ranging from 4.5–7 feet by the end of the next century."
