Joining me is Lt. Col. (US Army, Ret.), Jeffrey F. Addicott. Jeffrey is a full Professor of Law and the Director of the Warrior Defense Project at St. Mary’s University School of Law, San Antonio, Texas (2000-current). An active-duty Army officer in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps for twenty years, Professor Addicott spent a quarter of his career as the senior legal advisor to the United States Army’s Special Forces. We will be discussing the role Terror plays in modern and historical warfare including the use of it by the North against the South during the War Between the States. We will be dissecting the use of terror tactics to bring about a state of hopelessness in the civilian population of ones stated enemy and asking the tough questions as to does it work and what the repercussions are along with the justification by governments in its use.
