Text: John 9:4

Objective: that we accept the reality of the nature of this work of Soulwinning

Intro:
Preference vs. Duty
Hobby vs. Work/Job
May Do vs. Must Do

Distinguish between the work of Jesus and His disciples

Why we should be Consistent in Soulwinning
1. People are in Need

v. 1 "blind from birth" - spiritual sight is so important to people

2. People don't know of the purposes of God - v. 2 - "who did sin"
3. People die and so we have limited time - v. 4
4. People can and will obey God and be healed - v.7 "came seeing"
5. People will take notice and seek the Lord - vv. 8-12 - "is not this he"
6. People will oppose the would be believers - vv. 13-41

Message/conclusion:
Let us accept the reality of the work of Soulwinning as a Duty for us Christians.
Let us also rejoice and be thankful in it as it is such a privilege

John 9:4 I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.
John 4:34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
