Woman Thinks She Can Trick Nordstrom into a Fraudulent Return

On January 11, 2023, officers responded to a report of retail theft. The caller reported that a woman had walked out of the store without paying for some merchandise. He quickly asked her to return to the office and called 911. The officers found numerous IDs in the woman’s bag, which raised significant suspicion. The woman continued to dodge all the questions the officer asked. She began to panic when the officers tried to get more information from her. Based on the employee's statements and CCTV footage, the officers decided to arrest the woman. The woman was charged with retail theft, possession of stolen property, obstruction of identity, theft related devices and possession of drug paraphernalia.
