The Annual Meeting of the Global Future Councils took place from 15 to 17 October in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The meeting brought together over 500 global experts to exchange insights, explore emerging trends and accelerate solutions to the world’s most pressing challenges around three key themes: innovation for inclusive growth; climate action, nature protection and the energy transition; and building trust for global collaboration. Insights from the meeting will shape the World Economic Forum’s work throughout the coming year, including the Annual Meeting 2025 in Davos. - This session is hosted by Rebecca Anderson (born 15 November 1967) is a British journalist, and the anchor of CNN International's flagship news and current affairs primetime news program Connect the World. She previously hosted Business International. Anderson was born in England. She holds a bachelor's degree in Economics and French from the University of Sussex,[1] and a master's degree in Mass Communication from Arizona State University.

She worked for Bloomberg and CNBC before joining CNN in 1999.
