Frere Jacques on the Harmonica - play along with tabs!

Time to play some easy harmonica!

Frere Jacques, also known as Brother John or Brother Jack, is a pretty straightforward song to learn. It's great to practice puckering and hole position for holes 3-6 on the harp. Included in the video are tabs, play along portions, and a full run of the song. It's a short song, though. Not many notes to learn overall.

I'll be playing with a harmonica in the key of C, though you can use any harp you have lying around.

The tabs:
4 -4 5 4 (x2)
5 -5 6 (x2)
6 -6 6 -5 5 4 (x2)
4 3 4 (x2)

You should be able to feel out the rhythm on your own. Set the speed at whatever you can do, and gradually speed up as you get more accustomed to the instrument.

00:18 Tabs
