Enhancement inspired by Dave Volsky | Oct. 15, 1989: With Barry Sanders out and recovering from a bruised hip, Detroit registered a last-second come-from-behind 17-16 triumph at Tampa Stadium. The victory marked the first of the season for the then 0-5 Lions. Rodney Peete scored the game-tying TD on a five-yard jaunt with 23 seconds remaining. In the final drive, Peete engineered an eight-play, 76-yard drive which included three consecutive passes to Robert Clark for 64 yards. For his efforts, Peete was named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week.
