Squid on the Grill, capturing the Flavors of the Sea

Grilling squid can be a delicious way to enjoy this seafood! Here’s a simple method to grill squid:

Ingredients:
Fresh squid (cleaned and prepared)
Olive oil
Garlic (minced)
Lemon juice
Salt and pepper
Optional: herbs like parsley or spices like paprika for extra flavor

Instructions:

Preparation: Clean the squid if not already done. You can leave them whole or cut them into rings or strips.

Marinate: In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Add the squid and let it marinate for about 30 minutes.

Preheat Grill: Heat your grill to medium-high.

Grill Squid: Place the squid on the grill. Grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are opaque and slightly charred. Be careful not to overcook, as squid can become rubbery.

Serve: Remove from the grill and serve immediately with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and garnish with herbs if desired.
