Trust in Yahuah: Overcoming Fear in a World of Increasing Evil – Psalm 71

In these days, where evil is called good and good is called evil (Isaiah 5:20), we can feel surrounded by injustice and growing darkness. Friends, loved ones, and authorities seem unable to provide answers, and justice feels out of reach (Psalm 73:3-7). Psalm 71 reminds us not to panic—we are not the Creator, and we do not hold all power and authority.
The devil seeks those who rebel against Yahuah (1 Peter 5:8), but by trusting in Him, not ourselves, we can overcome fear and anxiety. "Trust in Yahuah with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5). Just as a passenger on a plane must let go of control and rest in the hands of the pilot, we must rest in Yahuah. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28).
When we do, we lose fear and can find peace, knowing He is greater than anything we face. "Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world" (1 John 4:4).
