Budget Optics...Ever Worth It?

Do budget optics serve a legitimate role, or are they always a waste of money? I believe the answer has some variables, however, I do believe they can serve a vital role in the world of firearms for the average consumer. I think the purpose of the firearm holding the optic is what should drive your purchase. It’s very easy to see the best name-brand optics on Instagram or YouTube and feel like you need that optic. And while there is a time and place for Trijicon, Eotech, Aimpoint, etc., there is also a time for saving money and using a budget optic. You shouldn’t break the bank on an optic that you shoot squirrels with. Now if you can afford to do that and have only top-of-the-line gear, more power to you.
